What we’re building
Most kid edtech is bright, frantic, and gamified to the bone. Tanci is the opposite — calm, conversational, with a tutor that actually listens and adjusts.
Three product surfaces: Courses for daily learning, Ask Tanci for homework help (snap a photo, get a real explanation), and My courses for content shared by your teacher or chosen from our library.
Why we made it free for teachers
Teachers reach 25 kids with one share-link. They’re the most leveraged path to helping more children learn. We don’t charge them — they help us reach more families. Always free, forever.
How we built it
Tanci runs on Gemini for the kid-facing tutor (cheap + fast, with on-device voice) and on Claude for the lesson creator (rich agentic authoring). One backend, one design system, shipped to iOS, Android, and web.
We’re an AI-leverage company shipping a kid tutor — agents draft lessons, agents test them, humans own the quality bar. That’s how a small team ships a big product.
Who’s using it
Beta-launching with families and teachers in Romania. Built international from day one — App Store + web available globally, English UI default, course content in multiple languages.
